William Bullock Stewart III, passed away on September 12, 2025, at the age of 69. Born in New York, NY on November 11, 1955, he was the eldest of seven children of Rosalie Merriman Stewart and William Bullock Stewart Jr., DDS, USN, DC (ret).

Bill grew up in Port Hueneme, California, where his early years were shaped by a love of learning, nature, and exploration. As a teenager, he loved the beach and earned the highest rank of Eagle Scout. Later in life, he made his home in the Bay Area, where he continued to pursue his intellectual interests and personal passions.

Bill earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Physics from the University of California, Santa Barbara, followed by a Master’s of Science in Physics from the University of California, Irvine, and later a Master’s of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Michigan. Bill later served honorably in both the United States Army and the National Guard.

In a personal expression of pride in his Scottish heritage, Bill formally changed his name to His Royal and Imperial Highness Prince William Bullock III Stewart in 2018. This symbolic gesture reflected his deep appreciation for tradition, identity, and ancestral legacy.
