Tucker Charles Neithercutt passed away suddenly at the age of 28 on Monday, January 3, 2022. He was a beautiful soul who leaves behind his parents, Julie and Marc, his stepmother, Kathy, and his younger brother, Weston, who love him more than words can express. He also leaves behind a large extended family and many, many friends. He could light up a room just walking in and anyone who truly knew him, knew he had such a big heart. He’d give you anything even if it wasn’t his to give. He could make you laugh even when you were mad at him, and he knew how to have fun and enjoy life. He was and always will be immensely treasured.
Tucker was born October 26, 1993 in Woodland, CA and grew up in neighboring Davis – where he excelled at soccer and swimming and was a graduate of Davis High School. He was easy to recognize around town in his white GMC truck and was a proud country boy. He loved country music and wasn’t ashamed of it – and could sing every word of Taylor Swift’s Love Story. He loved to fish, snowboard, a day at the lake and bonfires with his friends. He also loved working outside, whether it be on the farm, in the orchard, or working construction – anything that involved power tools.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Smith Funeral Home in Davis, California (116 D Street). There will be a visitation from 2-4p.m. and a service at 4p.m.
