Ron (Ronnie) White was born on May 20, 1958, in Painesville, Ohio to Betty (Breedlove) and Arlynn White. He was welcomed home by our Lord on November 24, 2025.
Ron and Janka married in 1976 and were blessed with a beautiful and loving family. He was a proud and devoted father to Jaclyn, Julie and Ryan as well as beloved father-In-law to John LaBarbera II and Ashlee White.
Ron was also a loving grandfather to Jonathan (Kayleen), Dylan, and Grace LaBarbera; Juliana, Jack, Joy and June Jacobson; Aubry, Everlee, Brody, Harlee and Remy White. He was a cherished great-grandfather to Avery LaBarbera. Ron’s greatest passion was his family. Watching them grow, succeed, and thrive brought him his deepest joy.
In early years, Ron worked as a flooring installer and later became a successful business owner and entrepreneur. He was truly a master of all trades, known for his hard work, creativity, and ability to turn any vision into reality.
His talents extended beyond his career and into sports and outdoor life. He was a scuba diver, hunter and an exceptional baseball player which earned him a spot in the Minor Leagues. Above all, his favorite pastime was ocean fishing, a passion he enjoyed throughout his life.
Those who knew Ron remember him with admiration and love:
“Ron will always be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather and employer. It is very difficult to find an individual more ethical, fair, truthful, with integrity beyond reproach”
“I always felt Ron was extremely fair, honest, truthful, and ethical in every business dealing I had with him. Certainly he was strong, but not one to take unfair advantage of another”
“I was always amazed how industrious Ron was. He could take a vision for something and make it a reality. A talent no doubt passed down”
“I will never forget how he introduced me to county music, and those childhood moments watching him organize his garage while teaching me something as simple as how to wrap an extension cord the “right” way. Uncle Ron was one of the coolest!”
Ron was preceded in death by his loving mother, Betty White. In addition to his immediate family, Ron leaves behind his father, Arlynn White; his sisters, Debbie, Rhonda and Judy, and their spouses; Janka’s brothers and sisters and their spouses; many beloved nieces and nephews extended family members and wonderful friends.
Ron’s kindness, strength, and unwavering love will be deeply missed but his legacy will live on in all who were blessed to know him.
We have and anchor that keeps our soul
Steadfast and sure while the bellows roll,
Fasten to the Rock which cannot move,
Grounded firm and deep in our Savior’s love.
