Raymond Douglas Parrish, 82, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born on December 18, 1943, in Dothan, Alabama, Raymond lived a life defined by love, kindness, generosity, and unwavering devotion to his family. He spent more than 30 years as a salesman for Xerox in Dallas, Texas, where he was known for his integrity, hard work, and genuine care for others. He transferred to California to be closer to his kids.

To those who knew him best, Raymond’s greatest accomplishment was never his career—it was his family. He was a devoted father, a proud grandfather (Papa), and the kind of man who always put the people he loved first. His daughters never questioned how deeply they were loved, and his grandchildren knew him simply as the best Papa. He found his greatest joy in watching his family grow and treasured every moment spent together.

Raymond is survived by his three daughters, Tiffany Parrish Connelly- son in law Keven, Tracey Parrish Gregory, and Tricia Parrish Lopez- son in law Brad; his six beloved grandchildren, Kiera, Deven, Karlee, Hunter, Mekaela, and Mason; his brother, David Parrish & Nancy (sister in law); his sister, Irene Parrish; niece Shannon Parrish Clark- her husband, Scott Clark, and nephew Matthew Parrish

He found his greatest joy in watching his family grow and treasured every moment spent together.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Hollis Parrish and Jewell Parrish, and by his brother, Jonny Parrish & Barbara (sister-in-law).

Raymond’s love, gentle spirit, sense of humor, and quiet strength will be deeply missed but never forgotten. The lessons he taught, the love he gave so freely, and the memories he created will continue to live on through his family and everyone fortunate enough to have known him.
