Madeline P. Bunfill, born Oct. 12, 1928, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by love and loved ones by her side on May 20, 2011. We are extremely saddened by the loss of our precious Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother.
She was the beautiful, cherished wife of Robert Bunfill Sr., whom she married Sept. 10, 1944. A highly respected woman who always filled your heart with warmth and your tummy with delicious food! She took pride in her family and home, she was the definition of a classy lady who continues to be the Best Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and Friend.
She will be deeply missed by all but will live on in each of her five children: Bob, Sharon, Dennis, Rick and Mike Bunfill of Davis and Woodland.
The family offers warmest praise and gratitude to kind and compassionate staff of Yolo Hospice. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Yolo Hospice in her name.
Public services will begin at 1 p.m. Friday, May 27, at St. James Catholic Church, 1275 B St., with a reception to follow at the church.
