Julianne Marie Karlonas, 57, of Davis, passed away April 30, 2007 at Sutter Davis Hospital. She had been an area resident for over 40 years.
Julie was born September 29, 1949 in Scranton, Pennsylvania to Julius and Mary Ann Karlonas. She was a member of American Biological Society. Julie loved animals and dedicated herself to her work as a Senior Clinical Lab Technician in the Veterinarian Medicine Department of U.C. Davis. She was an avid gardener and reader. Julie took great pleasure in spoiling her niece, three nephews and grand-nephew. She also loved to travel for both pleasure and work.
Julie was predeceased by her father, Julius Karlonas and is survived by her mother: Mary Ann Karlonas; brothers: Robert, William and John Karlonas (Julie); niece, Alison Dunbar (Douglas); nephews: Jordan, Jeremiah and James Karlonas and grand-nephew, Chase Dunbar.
A memorial service will be held Friday, May 25, 2007 at 3:00 P.M. at U.C. Davis. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Julies memory to OADS, 235 Casa Grande Road, Petaluma, CA 94954.
