Jane Ann (Williamson) Lewis, 79, of Davis passed away Monday, November 17, 2008 at Sutter Davis Hospital after a long illness. She was a lifelong resident of Davis.
Jane was born May 8, 1929 in Davis to Aldrich and Delpha Williamson. She enjoyed shopping for antiques, music, her dogs and especially time spent chatting with family and friends. No one was a stranger to Jane. She and her husband, Charles owned and operated Lewis Cleaners in Davis for over twenty years. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents; her only child, Jennifer Martin and one brother, James Williamson.
Jane is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Charles; sister, Martha Dixon of Logan, Utah; one niece and two nephews.
A Graveside service will be held Monday, December 1, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at Davis Cemetery; 820 Pole Line Road, under the direction of Wiscombes Davis Funeral Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Janes memory to the Yolo County SPCA, P.O. Box 510, Davis, CA 95617-0510.
