Ignacia Nunez Nogales

Ignacia Nunez Nogales AKA “Nachita” passed away peacefully at the age of 90½ on Saturday, May 24, 2025, in Tracy CA. She was a devoted wife, friend, and mother of 9. She was beloved by her 9 children, 24 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. She was surrounded by her loving family.

Nachita was born in Zacatecas, Mexico in 1934. She will be remembered as a warm-hearted, nurturing and very lovable woman. She enjoyed the simple things in life like her early morning walks, a beautiful array of flowers, gardening, cooking, sewing, embroidery, music, and children.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ramiro L. Nogales, her granddaughter Christina Rodness and Grandson Samuel Guerrero.

We would like to thank the wonderful people from Vitas Hospice, Hospitality House, Smith Funeral Home and St. James Catholic Church for all the love and support.

A time of visitation will be held Monday, June 9, 2025, at Smith Funeral Home (116 D Street, Davis, CA) from 5:00-7:00 PM. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. James Catholic Church (1275 B Street Davis, CA) on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at 10:00 AM.  Final Place of Rest (Burial)  will immediately follow the funeral service at Davis Cemetery District (820 Pole Line Road, Davis CA).
