Annie Teresa Dumes passed on August 5, 2008, a Winters resident for 35 years. She was 84 years old. "Auntie" was born on March 24, 1924 in Albany, California and grew up on Minnesota Street in San Francisco. She was preceded in death by her husband Marcus Dumes, her father Anthony Ramirez, and her beloved sister, Dolores Martinez.
Auntie Annie is survived by her neices, Linda Rodriguez and Sandy Freeland. Also by six great nephews and neices, their spouces and children: Chris & Shannon Rodriguez, Dominic, Ashley & Zachary; John and Jean Rodriguez, Anne and Katie; Marc & Olivia Rodriguez and Isabella; Gina & Tom Martin and Baylee Opperman; Joanna & Kyle Frazier, Scarlett and Sienna; and Adam Freeland.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at Wiscombe's Davis Funeral Chapel. Interment will be at 11:00 A.M. at the Winters Cemetery.
