I remember waiting for you to get home from work when I was little because I wanted to be the first one to give you a hug! I remember when you and mom used to go out to Vince's Restaurant in San Mateo every payday to have dinner and you started inviting one of us kids to join you and we were supposed to take turns. However, I was the only one who ever wanted to go and finally you two said enough! haha! I remember you would always try to hide the non-perils dark chocolate candy or the chocolate pinwheel cookies but I always found your stash. Later I enjoyed our visits to see you and Mary in Ohio and you and I would sit out on the screened-in porch and have coffee and sweets and talk. I remember when you and Mary would fly out after Christmas every year and the whole family would go out to dinner. I remember that you always called to wish me a Happy Birthday! I will miss that! Love you Dad! Your loving daughter Marie.
