Robert Bob Charles Bruhn, age 57, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2007. He was born on June 18, 1949 in Woodland, California to Vernon C. and Vera Yarberry Bruhn.
Bob grew up in Winters, then moved to Colorado in 1979 and returned to Winters in 1999. He received his Fire Science Certificate from Yuba Community College and has worked for over 35 years as a Heavy Equipment Operator. Bob loved working in his shop rebuilding engines and refurbishing his boat. He also enjoyed visiting with his good buddies.
He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Sue Bruhn; parents, Vernon C. and Vera Bruhn; children, Michael Bruhn; Sylvia Bruhn and Sondra McGhee; step-children, Jodi Chavez; Phillip Timm and Jeff Timm; Father and Mother in-law, Mark and Martha Reimer; sister, Elizabeth Ehnat; brothers, Vernon E. Bruhn, II and Jeffery Bruhn; grandchildren, Hope and Trey Bruhn; step-grandchildren, Bronson, Brittney, Craig and Eddie Chavez; Taylor, Emma and Sidney Timm and Madison Timm.
A celebration of Bobs life will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at the Winters Fire Department with a viewing one hour prior to services. Interment will be private.
