I have very found memories of Melody from school. She always had a smile and it was very contagious. She was a beautiful girl with a great big heart. She always seemed to have that gleem in her eyes. Some people you can see joy in, she was one of them. She was a remarkable young lady. My thoughts and prayers are with Melody's family and close friends. My God give you comfort and strength. God Bless.

It was a blessing to be a part of Melody's life, and the special bond George and I have with the family. I will always remember Melody with that huge smile and the kindness she always shared with family and friends. Melody was loved by all and holds a special favorite place in my heart.

The evening I opened up the paper and saw Mels picture the saddness and shock took my breath away. I couldn't believe what I was reading. I've know her for many years and actually can't remember not seeing a big smile on her beautiful face. I think of the summer she babysat my three girls and when my girls got into things they knew was out of bounds for them Mel would laugh and say yes, I rememeber when Me, Julie and C.J. used to do things like that too,she said it's called drive mom crazy. She was right. One thing about Mel, She adored her parents, was crazy about her sisters and there are no words to express how much she loved her daughter. Her eyes would light up anytime she talked about her, she was so proud of her. Claudette, Spike, Julie and C.J. you know we love all of you and I know there is nothing that can be said that can make the pain all of you are feeling go away. I will continue to pray for all of you daily. debbie davis

Melody-I miss you so much. I don't know how to live without you. You were definitely the best half of me. I want you to know that I'll take real good care of my lovely neice, Julie. Just like you wanted me to. There wasn't a second that went by in 36 years that I didn't love and enjoy your smile and laughter. I know my whole family is in terrible morning. All my love and prayers are with them. Melody~I love you
