I feel so blessed to have had such a loving Grandmother in my life. Every child should be so lucky! My Grandmother was always on the side of the underdog; she helped many people and animals in her lifetime. She was not a materialistic person and hardly ever thought of herself. Instead, she showered our family and the people around her with love and encouragement. I will forever be grateful for the love and kindness that she shared with me.

I was saddened to hear of the loss of precious Pearl. She was my neighbor when I was a girl on South Almond Street in Dixon, CA. She was always so sweet to me and I enjoyed going to her house to visit and play with Brooks and Chris. I have a lot of fond memories of Pearl. I am so sorry for the family's loss. She was a sweet lady.
