Harvey Alfred Long, 80, of Davis, California, passed away Saturday, August 30, 2008. He had been an area resident for the past 15 years. Harvey was born November 12, 1927 in Sacramento, California to James and Margaret (Blanche) Long. Harvey was preceded in death by his parents and eight siblings. Harvey is survived by his children: Harvey Long, Jr., Phyllis (Bob) Dunstan, Laura Wilson and Eileen (Jerry) Camp; sister, Tessie (Gene) Meyers; grandchildren: Shaun Long, Wendy Scott, Brittany Scott and Jennifer (John) Hernandez as well as one great grandchild, Andrew Long. A private family graveside service will take place at Davis Cemetery.
