Elsie Morandi

Elsie Esther (DelRe) Morandi passed away peacefully in her home in the presence of her family.

She was born and raised in Fort Bragg, where she met her husband, Bruno, of 46 years. She was predeceased by her husband and survived by their son Randall Morandi and his wife Julia of Pacific Palisades and their daughter Vicki Howard and husband Stephen of Saint Paul, Minn. She has five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Elsie was renowned for her culinary expertise and her quick mind. She was a passionate bridge player and a loving mother. She enjoyed spending time in her garden and volunteering at St. James Church and for Little League Baseball. She loved life and always found humor in day-to-day living. She was a great friend to all, young and old. She will be surely missed.

A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 11 at St James Catholic Church, 1275 B Street, Davis, with a reception immediately following. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Yolo Hospice, PO Box 1014, Davis, CA 95617.
