Don Bennett

Don Charles Bennett entered into this world April 17, 1935 in San Francisco, CA and departed July 1, 2008 in Davis, CA of a sudden heart failure.
Don was the beloved husband of Nemia Ocampo Bennett for 16 years. They were married August 18, 1992 in San Fernando, Philippines and first resided in Stockton, CA. They later moved to Davis in 1997. They are the parents of Charles Don Bennett and David Fermin Bennett. Don was a nurse at Stockton State Mental Hospital during a 30 year career in which he rose to the position of Night Shift Supervisor.
Don is survived by his mother-in-law, Rosa Ocampo of Davis; sister, Sherry Lee of San Anselmo, CA as well as several nieces and nephews.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, David and Esther Bennett.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Dons memory to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Fast Offering Fund.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 5, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Davis 1st Ward, 785 Elmwood St. in Davis.
